Cash Holding Fund
The Cash Holding Fund aims to preserve capital while providing a regular source of returns from cash and short term interest bearing securities.
The fund invests in cash and highly liquid short term cash equivalent instruments that have a maturity date of less than one year. Examples of the types of securities the fund invests in include 30 day bank bills.
The performance objective of the Cash Holding Fund is to achieve a gross return before tax, fees and expenses at least equal to the S&P/NZX 30 Day Bank Bills Index.
